Megaupload.com and Rapidshare.de anti wait time fix

This fix is a tinny bit complicated and requires a bit of browser knowledge. Once applied a few times though it will become second nature. The pay off is pretty great so have fun in the digital wild west....

Software needed:

1) Mozilla (5.0) Firefox (2.0.0.3)

http://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-2.0.0.3&os=win&lang=en-US

2) Edit Cookies 0.2.2.1

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/573

3) NoScript 1.1.4.6.070317

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722

Explanation of fix: This fix is produced due to the fact that these sites rely solely on javascript and cookies to validate your sessions. If this validation is removed, the file sharing server has no way to tell if you are someone that never downloaded anything from them. Furthermore there is no need for proxying and/or changing your I.P. with this fix due to the fact that you are removing again, the session which identifies you to there servers. Smile

This is a fix that has been tried and tested by me and DF Pirates. If anything I must warn you to follow instructions properly and precisely. If you do not this fix will NOT WORK! thus if you do not follow explicit instruction DO NOT COMPLAIN that it doesn't work. Again, this is tested tried and it works absolutely 100%

INSTRUCTIONS:

It's best to start out completely fresh a.k.a. not have downloaded from either rapidshare.de or megaupload.com in the past 90 minutes. You can download multiple times after the first time using the instructions bellow:

1) having the new plugins newly installed. open up mozilla firefox. Click on the "Tools" button on the browsers bookmarks bar. Select Cookie editor.

2) This opens up a new window called the cookie editor. Select ALL COOKIES!!! then click on the delete button. This is necessary because rapidshare and megaupload have many advertisers. This is one of the identifiers and ALL there cookies MUST be deleted!!! >> close the cookie editor.

3) In the browser windows address bar, enter the URL of your download. Hit the green go arrow or hit enter key.

4) You will see Error: "Enable javascript to proceed" and/or the usual click here free page, then click on the free button and this will load another page which will give you an error

5) Click either on the S icon or the options button (in yellow strip on bottom of browser) and select options.

6) this loads up the noscript options window. In that window add either/or these urls (exactly as shown with out quotes): "megaupload.com" AND/OR "rapidshare.com" then click on the Allow button to the right.

7) this will load up a "retry with post data" pop up, select retry and this will load up the regular page were your download link appears.

>>> After 5 to 10 minutes wait time. ONLY THEN! you should follow the same procedures to delete your cookies and to stop the javascript. With that fix you will avoid having to either pay for an account and/or havign to wait 90 minutes per download. <<<

Enjoy another quality hax/fix from eyelfixit and DF Pirates.

NOTE: This was derived from a previous tutorial that used to work until they caught up with the cookies, To bad for them We caught up with that idea....

Hmm... this works for me.

Using Firefox 2.0.0.2 by the way. And not using proxy either. I don't have a habit of keeping cache or history, if it's of any help.

Install NoScript

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/722/
and restart Firefox.

Copy the Rapidshare link to the address bar. Click on the free download link. If you are lucky, you will receive an error from Rapidshare about enabling JavaScripts. That's because NoScript by default will block scripts from running.

Click on the NoScript icon (a small S button) at the bottom right hand corner and select Allow rapidshare.com

The page will refresh and Firefox will prompt you about refreshing POSTDATA. Just click OK.

You will know see the timer. Wait for it to countdown. Once the countdown is done, select Telia or Cogent servers. Type in the activation code and press Enter. It should start downloading. If those servers don't work, select other servers. I find these 2 servers are very reliable for me.

When you have finished downloading, click on the NoScript icon at the bottom right hand corner again, and select Options.

Find rapidshare.com in the allowed lists of websites and remove it. Then repeat the process again for other files that you want to download.

Remember to wait a while before downloading, if not Rapidshare will say you have reached the limits and asks you to wait. On average, I wait for about 3 minutes before downloading new files
